摘要: Nine farms were each visited regularly for a year in 1979 and 1980 Salta Province the subtropics of Argentina. A necropsy was done at visit faecal blood samples taken from other animals mostly aged between 6 18 months. Ninety necropsies nearly 1,500 collected. Gastro-intestinal helminthiasis most general severe autumn when calves about 9 months old this followed by dramatic fall numbers worms end winter. Helminths found organs but not considered important. At peak periods 20% had worm egg counts more than 750 epg contained 1,000Haemonchus worms.
