摘要: Publisher Summary Chordotonal organs are generally found in Insecta and Crustacea. In insects, chordotonal occur great morphological diversity, at nearly every exoskeletal joint between joints within limb body segments. Morphologically, a organ is cluster of sensilla connected to movable parts skeletal cuticle or the tracheal system, sometimes inserting into connective tissue strand. It noted some organs, neurons clustered one two groups, termed scoloparia that can be morphologically separated from each other. not normally associated with external cuticular structures, such as hairs, bristles, campaniform sensilla. The chapter describes histological methods, diversity distribution, structure function, ultrastructure, mechanics scolopidium, physiological responses processing information development evolution homology. Combining technologies neurophysiology those genetics, electron microscopy, membrane biochemistry, biophysics elucidate mechanisms provide their different properties.
