摘要: In this chapter, we describe the sexually transmitted infection (STI) problem among adolescents, noting disproportionately high rates of STIs reported each year adolescents. We open with an overview by providing a list common presenting in adolescents and describing physical psychological sequalae that can result from STIs. then discuss detection factors associated adolescents’ delayed care seeking. second part contextual increase risk for STIs, which include cervical ectopy, their sexual behaviors, exposure to infected partners.
