New inorganic discrete 8-membered wheel clusters: Organically directed titanium sulfate supermolecules

摘要: Abstract Two organically directed titanium sulfates (C 4 N 3 H 16 ) 5 (H O)[TiO(SO 2 ] 8 ·15H O ( I and 12 [TiO(SO ·23H II ), have been synthesized characterized. crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pnma, crystal data: a  = 16.5834 A, b  = 19.9129 A, c  = 29.1383 A, V  = 9622.15 A , Z  = 4; monoclinic C2/c,  = 23.1596(17) A,  = 28.786(2) A,  = 20.7720(15) A, β  = 121.0930(10)°,  = 11858.6(15) A  = 4. compounds are featured as uncommon discrete wheel clusters encapsulating different amines. The amines with linear cyclic structures located positions, respectively, involving host–guest interaction.
