摘要: Climate change (CC) is a reality! It great threat to fisheries production especially in Africa that characterized with normal climate variability phenomenon. Capture both marine and freshwater are greatly impacted, resulting real negative consequences on fish products availability, the livelihood of dependent individuals communities. Some basic problems faced genetic erosion endemic species have adaptive features under effect CC; decline capture due CC other anthropogenic activities; nutrition insecurity malnutrition or under-nutrition. The primary concern how mitigate effects through sustainable aquaculture production; breed conservation; provision food security solve demand outstrips supply ever-increasing human population. However, development technology improve health, help restore protect environments, extend range aquatic management conservation wild stock will be benefit achieve security. Technology strategies such as animal conservation, selective breeding, hybridization, tissue culture manipulation been recently employed developed economies panacea myriads agri-food insecurity. This paper presents biotechnology approaches toolkit alleviate menace increase for production, solution enhance
