Methods for characterizing polymorphisms

摘要: Methods are described for analyzing at least one polymorphic site in a biological sample containing single-stranded template, including the steps of: combining with primer specific each template and extension preparation, to form an assay mixture; wherein preparation includes: chain terminating nucleotides forming first nucleotide class, elongating second class such that does not include nitrogenous base present template-dependent nucleic acid polymerase; incubating mixture time temperature sufficient extend by addition of nucleotide; determining size extended primer. Kits suitable practising invention also provided.
