摘要: The paper is dedicated to the 60th anniversary of Urbach rule. edge behaviour, measured by optical absorption spectroscopy, analysed for different solids. general regularities rule revealed in crystalline and amorphous solids as well temperature behaviour its main parameters are discussed. attention paid studies possibilities be used studying disordering processes solids, short- medium-range order materials, specific features "bundle" nanosystems variation vicinity phase transitions. It shown that obtained from give an important information about dynamic properties elementary excitations condensed matter interaction electronic with phonons.
