摘要: Introduction Globally, vitamin D deficiency is one of the most common deficiencies, affecting nearly half world's population. The objective this survey was to assess and compare knowledge about perceived state health in Emirati international tourist female students Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Methods This a cross-sectional study that took place universities Emirates. consisted 17 multiple choice questions adapted from recently conducted Poland. first part assessed levels supplementation, diet UV exposure. Another section evaluated participants' self-assessed terms testing, symptoms related general welbeing. collected data were statistically analyzed using SPSS statistics for windows version 26.0 (SPSS Inc., Chicago, IL, States). Statistical significance set at P < 0.05. Results 105 respondents Emiratis 65 students. average age 21, with an BMI 23.3 kg/m2. Almost one-third each group reported Vitamin supplements once weekly. vast majority both groups rarely getting tanned. all participants regular consumption rich foods. In groups, more than consuming milk cheese regularly up fish manner. Although rated their as good; two-thirds experiencing muscle pain; only having blood measured once; problems concentration three-quarters bad mood past month. prevalence these almost similar across different categories tanning habits, dietary intake, or nationality.
