摘要: Abstract In this paper, the presence of a considerable number Co (3–4 nm) and Pd (1–4 nm) particles in inner tube (4–9 nm diameter) carbon nanofibers is demonstrated with TEM XPS. Oxidation freshly grown fibers nitric acid resulted opening creating adsorption sites on internal external surface needed for anchoring metal precursors. It that analysis tilt series very powerful tool to locate actual position particles, i.e. or fibers. The fraction present core varied from 10–15% 28–34% Co, depending synthesis method.
