摘要: Antibody-based therapies are currently undergoing a renaissance. After being developed and then largely abandoned in the twentieth century, many antibody preparations now clinical use. However, most of reagents that available target non-infectious diseases. Interest using antibodies to treat infectious diseases is fuelled by wide dissemination drug-resistant microorganisms, emergence new relative inefficacy antimicrobial drugs immunocompromised hosts fact antibody-based only means provide immediate immunity against biological weapons. Given need for recent technological advances field immunoglobulin research, there considerable optimism regarding renewed applications therapy prevention treatment
