The discrete time Biquad State Space structure: Low latency with high numerical fidelity

摘要: State space models of highly flexible systems can present severe numerical issues. The derived from physical principles often lack structure. Canonical form models, are compact, but obscure any structure and have coefficients that sensitive to model parameters. What is needed a has the compact representation canonical forms, physicality forms equations, maintain accuracy intuition, even after discretization. This paper presents new state form, Biquad Space (BSS), based on multinotch [1], [2]. We will show BSS captures endearing characteristics while providing flexibility control. basic in discrete time which most closely matches multinotch. Forms not specific minimum latency control, including continous version, be discussed [3].
