摘要: Confocal optical microscopy is a technique for increasing the contrast of microscope images, particularly in thick specimens. By restricting observed volume, keeps overlying or nearby scatterers from contributing to detected signal. The price this that instrument must observe only one point at time (in scanning laser version) group separated points with very little light disc version). This paper describes how confocal advantage comes about and it implemented actual instruments.
