摘要: The effect of fire damage on the flexural properties fibre-reinforced polymer (FRP) composites is investigated. FRP studied contained glass, carbon or Kevlar fibres with a polyester, epoxy phenolic resin matrix. Artificial tests were performed using cone calorimeter. residual modulus and strength burnt determined at room temperature after tests. post-fire all decreased rapidly increasing heating time. Even materials severely degraded despite their low flammability excellent resistance. phenolic-based reduced due to thermal degradation cracking In comparison, polyester- epoxy-based by combustion formation delamination cracks. A model presented for determining good accuracy.
