摘要: Abstract 1. (1) 13C NMR linewidths were measured for various resonances in unsonicated dispersions of synthetic and natural phosphatidylcholines both the absence presence cholesterol at temperatures where acyl chains are liquid-crystalline state. 2. (2) In resolved chain decreased with increasing unsaturation decreasing lenth. The motion Δ9-cis olefinic carbon atoms dioleoylphosphatidylcholine was more restricted than 1-stearoyl-2-oleoyl-phosphatidylcholine despite higher overall fluidity dioleoylphosphatidylcholine. polar head-group not dependent upon fatty acid composition. 3. (3) Incorporation broadens all observed phosphatidylcholines, thus demonstrating a reduction by cholesterol. For saturated unsaturated is length. 4. (4) chemical shift carbonyl sonicated dipalmitoyl phosphatidylcholine vesicles labelled 1-position slightly incorporation 50 mol% contrast, epicholesterol, 3α-OH isomer, produced large downfield splitting resonance.
