摘要: Paper-based analytical devices (PADs) and Electrospun Fiber-Based Biosensors (EFBs) have aroused the interest of academy industry due to their affordability, sensitivity, ease use, robustness, being equipment-free, deliverability end-users. These features make them suitable face need for point-of-care (POC) diagnostics, monitoring, environmental, quality food control applications. Our work introduces new experienced researchers in field a practical guide fibrous-based biosensors fabrication with insight into chemical physical interaction fibrous materials wide variety functionalization biofunctionalization purposes. This research also allows readers compare classical novel materials, techniques, immobilization methods, signal transduction, readout. Moreover, examined alternative mathematical models provide powerful tool bioanalytical device designing multiple steps required biosensing platforms. Finally, we aimed this comprise current state PADs EFBs future direction offer reader full on topic.
