摘要: A powerful and stable color-center laser based on a perturbed F2+ center has been demonstrated in additively color NaCl:OH− crystals. The OH− impurity positively identified as the key dopant for creating NaCl. tunes smoothly over 1.41- to 1.81 -μm region with maximum cw power of W when pumped by 9-W Nd:YAG operating at 1.06 μm. Laser operation periods several weeks monitored no observable fading output power. In addition, mode-locked pulses 5-psec duration generated synchronously arrangement, tunable from 1.47 1.73 μm an average have 450 mW peak tuning curve.
