摘要: Natural gel-like imogolite was dispersed in an acetic acid aqueous solution. An film prepared by evaporating the solvent from solution and then subjecting it to heat-treatment. It transformed amorphous at around 500°C a mullite-silica composite 1000°C without giving pore cracks. The heat treated 1200°C showed high transparency as well low thermal expansion coefficient of about 4×10−6.
