摘要: Cyclic di-AMP has been recognized as a ubiquitous second messenger involved in the regulation of bacterial signal transduction. However, little is known about control its synthesis and physiological role bacteria. In this study, we report novel mechanism c-di-AMP effects on growth Mycobacterium smegmatis. We identified DisA homolog M. smegmatis, MsDisA, an enzyme synthesis. Furthermore, MsRadA, RadA smegmatis was found to act antagonist MsDisA protein. MsRadA can physically interact with inhibit activity MsDisA. Overexpression MsdisA led cell expansion aggregation well loss motility. co-expression MsradA rescued these abnormal phenotypes. show that interaction between inhibiting may be conserved Our findings enhance our understanding roles Background: Little cyclic Results: targets regulates mycobacterial growth. Conclusion: Significance: These
