摘要: SUMMARY To investigate the possible presence of thyroglobulin (Tg) different molecular sizes in plasma, blood specimens were drawn from patients during and after surgery for thyroid adenoma. Tg was measured all serum samples by a radioimmunoassay. Selected fractionated on sepharose CL-6B column, fractions assayed antigen. In at maximum concentration, weights antigen ranging 660,000 (19S) to less than 100,000 found. 6 h later mol. wt. < could not be detected, 3 days only 19S present. Correspondingly plasma concentration vs. time curve showed biphasic course which two half-lives estimated. For Tg, ta1/2, had mean value 4.3 days, whereas over-all half-life mixture smaller molecules, tb1/2. 3.7 h. The molecules also antigenic reactivity assay indicating an altered structure molecules. The assumption that this might due lack sialic acid would explain faster catabolic rate. Preliminary results study have been presented 11th FEBS Meeting Copenhagen, 1977, European Thyroid Association 8th Lyon, 1977.
