Brief Report: Mealtime Behaviors of Chinese American Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

摘要: This study investigated mealtime behaviors of Chinese-American children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Thirty-one parents ASD participated in this and the Brief Autism Mealtime Behavior Inventory (BAMBI) was used. The top problematic reported by were prefers "crunchy" food (54.2%); not willing to try new foods (48%); does remain seated at table until meal is finished (46%). found that majority seldom or never aggressive (96%) disruptive during mealtimes (92.3%). Compared their white counterparts, showed slightly lower scores on behaviors. These findings may provide significant information practitioners.
