摘要: Results are presented on harvest strategies that optimize a risk adverse management objective. Risk in this paper refers to reluctance the part of managers freely gamble with current quotas an attempt increase odds for higher future catch. Harvest policies maximize logarithmic utility function, one type objective, shown differ substantially from fixed escapement average In particular, constant rate policy maximizes log-catch model. A number advantages discussed.
