摘要: We have successfully demonstrated a facile, solvent-free synthesis of highly crystalline and monodisperse Fe_3O_4 nanocrystallites at ambient temperature avoiding any heating. Solid state reaction inorganic Fe(II) Fe(III) salts with NaOH was found to produce nanoparticles. The reaction, if carried out in the presence surfactant such as oleic acid–oleylamine adduct, generated nanocrystals extractable directly from mixture. extracted nanoparticles were capable forming self-assembled, two-dimensional uniform periodic array. new process utilizes inexpensive nontoxic starting materials, does not require use high boiling point toxic solvents, thus is amenable an environmentally desirable, large-scale nanocrystals.
