摘要: Extensive debates in many countries on knowledge-based economies and learning societies continue to raise critical questions. The European Union has most prominently articulated its aspiration toward achieving competitive economic advantage the global economy. It proposes accompany that agenda with aspirations maintain a social model of citizenship for population as whole. However, at same time notions are being re-emphasized activity, including ‘learning organizations’ increased worker skill capacity, is politically encouraged, critics observe some unexpected contradictory outcomes.
