High-speed reader for wireless resonant SAW sensors

摘要: A new reader is presented that based on a narrowband pulsed excitation of two SAW resonators contained in differential wireless resonant sensor such as torque senor. Simultaneous the working at 433–437 MHz allows achieving flat system frequency response up to Nyquist frequency. An interrogation algorithm and structure ensure sampling rate least 16 kHz bandwidth 8 achievable processor clock 150 MHz. Systematic errors caused by mutual interference responses, intermodulation products aliasing are discussed. Random phase noise local oscillators analyzed theoretically. Experimental results also presented.
