摘要: Objective The aim was to assess the quality of reporting experimental research in implant dentistry by a critical evaluation study design, outcome assessments and model validation. Material & Methods An online search performed using MEDLINE. Experimental studies both animals humans were included. A’stratified random sample included extracted used for quantitative qualitative analyses. Modified versions ARRIVE guidelines assessment. Results A total 982 papers eligible 193 publications extracted. The dog most whereas on few. Intra-oral sites dominated human, monkey, mini-pig studies. Extra oral rabbit, rodent goat/sheep Studies pathogenesis treatment peri-implant diseases few. Conclusion Different animal models, protocols methods analysis have been address different areas dentistry. Standardized designs investigations within this type seem be lacking. Furthermore, many these there limitations methodology statistical methods.
