摘要: Dengue is a common arboviral infection in tropical and sub-tropical areas of the world transmitted by Aedes mosquitoes caused with one 4 serotypes dengue virus. Neurologic manifestations are increasingly recognised but exact incidence unknown. has wide spectrum neurological complications such as encephalitis, myositis, myelitis, Guillain-Barre syndrome (GBS) mononeuropathies. Encephalopathy most reported complication. In endemic regions, should be considered aetiologies encephalitis. Even for other syndromes like GBS etc., kept differential diagnosis ruled out especially so countries during outbreaks cases where aetiology uncertain. A high degree suspicion can help picking up more thereby helping understanding true extent fever. Also knowledge regarding various helps looking warning signs early improving patient outcome.
