摘要: The effects of exploitation on growth, condition, and surplus production were measured over an 8—year period for a population seven species warm—water fishes in 4.05—ha lake. lake was shallow, fertile, moderately productive. Population estimates individual made each spring concurrently with the annual removal 34% to 71% existing population. initial stock density all 48.66 g/m2 1962. optimum yield this mixed calculated be 14.56 per year at 18.67 g/m2, bluegill producing most weight. When considered separately, there poor correlation between rate either growth or condition. response entire thinning more predictable, both condition related density. Best occurred densities near 20 approximately level yield. See full-text article JSTOR
