摘要: A series of monodispersed (PDI <0.05) butyl acrylate emulsions with different sizes (100–500 nm) and solid contents (22, 17, 12 7 wt%) were prepared using a semibatch seeded emulsion polymerization method. Sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) was used as an emulsifier potassium persulfate initiator. Surface tensions the investigated relationship stability, particle size content examined. The critical micelle concentration (CMC) SDS determined by intersection two tangents to surface tension curves. We found that at CMC high 65.99 mN/m for 22 % 115 nm, very close value it pure water. decreased from 65.99 54.74 mN/m increase in 115 494 nm concomitantly decrease 56.10 19.83 mmol/l 22 wt%. As same size, positively correlated content. minimum 9.12 mmol/l 7 % 494 nm, whereas maximum 56.10 mmol/l 22 wt% 115 nm. result, equation describing between deduced. This model yielded trends experimental results.
