摘要: Muscle variations are common in humans, as well both wild and domestic animals. They defi ned additional muscle bundles or bellies, unusual insertions even complete absence of the muscle. In this manuscript, we have described different neck muscles dogs. Fifty-seven medium sized dogs breeds, sex ages were dissected between 2005 2011, within gross anatomy course. These observed four (7.02%) included sternohyoideus, stylohyoideus, sternocephalicus scalenus dorsalis One dog presented three (left sternohyoideus muscle, left right stylohyoidues muscle), another two showed muscle) one had variation muscle). bilaterally times once involved stylohyoideus other cases, The close phylogenetic relationship explains variations. Our description is a contribution to research and, terms veterinary medicine, their presence has be taken account during surgical procedures region.
