摘要: Traditional Disc Jockeys use vinyl records and turntables to manipulate music in real time. We describe the development of DJammer, a new device that enables its users digital using portable handheld sensor. In addition standard actions offered by most players, DJammer provides with control capabilities previously only through turntables. Using DJs can "air-scratch" via simple hand motions similar those used when scratching records, fade music, jump predefined position within song wireless sensor designed fit DJ's hand. The preliminary study experienced suggests it play role as an accessory their professional equipment, freeing them step away from consoles during performance uncovering opportunities for creativity personalization.
