摘要: Stacked Blumlein lines with solid dielectric potentially offer a compact pulsed power system for variety of applications by combining the energy storage, voltage scaling, and pulse forming functions into single device. By stacking physically, not simply electrically, line is made more because adjacent share electrodes. This design does lend itself to use switch commutate stacked line, multiple switches are far simpler implement. The jitter electrical characteristics strongly influence performance stresses on dielectric. paper explores effects jitter, inductance, resistive decay during closure, closed-state resistance output using SPICE simulations. impact operation necessary strength quality presented. suitability various technologies meet requirements also discussed.
