摘要: Objective To identify factors associated with an increased risk of giving birth to infants weighing more than 4000 g and study whether changes in these over time can explain the increasing proportion high weight last decade. Methods Our analyses included 24,093 pregnancies nondiabetic women information on potential for weight: maternal prepregnancy weight, height, age, parity, smoking habits, alcohol caffeine intake, marital status, educational level, gestational infant gender. Information was obtained from questionnaires completed during pregnancy registration forms at Department Obstetrics Gynaecology, Aarhus University Hospital, Aarhus, Denmark, 1990 1999. Results We found a statistically significantly parity greater 2, age 42 weeks, male gender nonsmokers. Women low intake or 10 years education were also higher risk. The variation past 10-year period explained by same period. Conclusion Risk may be clinically significant have impact public health. High increases adverse outcomes delivery as well childhood morbidity.
