摘要: This paper introduces TeamWorkStation (TWS), a new desktop real-time shared workspace characterized by reduced cognitive seams. TWS integrates two existing kinds of individual workspaces, computers and desktops, to create virtual workspace. The key ideas are the overlay images in creation drawing surface. Because each co-worker can continue use his/her favorite application programs or manual tools workspace, discontinuity (seam) between workspaces is greatly reduced, users shuttle smoothly these workspaces. This discusses where seams exist current CSCW environment clarify issue design. technique fusing introduced. remote teaching calligraphy presented show its potential. prototype system described compared with other comparable approaches.
