摘要: Long intergenic non-coding RNA (lincRNA) is a family of gene transcripts, the functions which are largely unknown. Although cigarette smoking main cause for lung cancer, cancer in non-smokers separate entity and its underlying little known. Growing evidence suggests lincRNAs play significant role development progression; however, such data lacking non-smokers, or those who have never smoked. This study conducted comprehensive profiling from sequencing (RNA-seq) non-smoker patients with adenocarcinoma. Both known novel distinctly segregated tumors normal tissues. Approximately one third were differentially expressed between samples most them coordinated their putative protein targets. More importantly, defined two clusters that associated tumor aggressiveness patient survival. We identified subset also Very high concordance (R² = 0.9) was observed Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) validation set 85 transcriptomes survival discovery similarly predictive set. These warrant further investigation as potential diagnostic prognostic markers.
