摘要: We present an in-depth performance analysis of the gains physical layer (PHY) abstraction when compared to a full implementation layer. The model uses either effective signal noise plus interference (SINR) mapping or mutual information SINR and covers different transmission modes as well support for hybrid automatic repeat request. Using OpenAirInterface LTE system level simulator we show that simple network with one base station two user equipments these PHY techniques decrease simulation time by factor up 100 while providing same accuracy implementation.
