摘要: Abstract Four α-amylase-encoding cDNA (αAmy-C) clones were isolated from a library derived poly(A)+RNA of gibberellic acid (GA3)-treated rice aleurone layers. Nucleotide sequence analysis indicates that the four cDNAs different αAmy genes. Expression individual gene in germinating seeds and cultured suspension cells was studied using gene-specific probes. In seeds, expression genes is positively regulated by GA3 temporally coordinated but quantitatively distinct manner. cells, contrast, negatively differentially sugars present medium. addition, one strong weak carbohydrate-starvation-responsive have been identified. Interactions between promoter region (HS501) GA3-inducible DNA binding proteins also studied. A mobility-shift assay showed interact with two specific fragments within HS501. One fragment located nt −131 to −170 contains imperfect directly repeated pyrimidine elements putative GA3-response element. The other −92 −130 enhancer sequence. interactions these are sequence-specific GA-responsive.
