摘要: A broad classification scheme is proposed for half-metallic ferromagnets which embraces the possibilities of itinerant and localized electrons, as well semimetallic semiconducting electronic structure. Examples each type are given. The problems defining measuring spin polarization discussed some characteristics half-metals reviewed with reference to chromium dioxide.
