摘要: Family accommodation is a salient construct within the context of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and occurs in large majority affected individuals their families. Accommodating behaviors can manifest various ways, including participation patient's rituals, modifying everyday routines, facilitating compulsive behaviors, or providing reassurance. It has been repeatedly linked to negative outcomes, such as attenuated treatment response, increased symptom severity, higher levels family distress, lower functioning. As such, it significant clinical importance have standardized measure that able be used research practice. The Accommodation Scale for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (FAS) was initial attempt at systematically assess patients with OCD, different clinician-rated self-reported versions completed by relative arising thereafter. However, date, there not patient-reported version instrument. Existing measures focus on reports from (e.g., other, parent), overlooking information patient themselves.
