摘要: This paper reports on findings from a national survey (n = 364) of social workers' views what impedes and supports evidence-based practice (EBP) implementation. In contrast to some prior research, support for EBP was found be strong among the workers surveyed. Open-ended responses, however, reflected reservations about formalisation, relevance, usability applicability in work. A range barriers implementation were identified at individual organisational levels, which is largely supportive research. An interesting distinction discerned between those respondents who preferred engage whole process themselves (locating, appraising applying research) adopt guidelines based appraisal research evidence by other experts. finding has implications way organisations work profession approach EBP.
