摘要: A core-excited I = (12+) spin-gap isomer was identified in 98Cd an experiment at EUROBALL IV. It found to feed the known (8+) seniority by E4 transition. Half-lives of T1/2 0.23() µs and 0.17() were measured for two states Ex 6635 keV 2428 keV, respectively. From excitation energy a 100Sn shell gap 6.46(15) MeV is inferred. The E2 strengths, core excitations origin empirical polarization charges are discussed framework large-scale model calculations. An charge protons e<0.4 e found, which corresponds value 0.45() pure proton hole valence space.
