Producing UK children’s public service broadcasting in the 21st century : a case study of BBC Scotland

摘要: This thesis examines the production of UK children’s public service broadcasting in 21st century through extended case study one significant facility: BBC Scotland Children’s Department. Starting from hypothesis that Department offers a unique inflection its remit being an alternative producer to main facility London, it argues various contexts and settings impact on texts, practices discourses articulate distinctive approach befitting Department’s status as ‘centre excellence’.
