摘要: There currently exists no data on birth defects from population-based studies in Vietnam. Our study's aim was to assess external defect (EBD) prevalence among live newborns Binh Thuan Province Vietnam with the help of health workers at all levels system. A 2-month training session for 452 professionals (HP) practicing delivery care 127 Commune Health Stations (CHS) and 12 provincial or district hospitals (DH) setup 2006. After a successful 6-month pilot study, one-year registry EBDs established 2008. All were screened within 24 hours after DH obstetric departments CHSs.
