摘要: Abstract The present research was conducted to assess the anthropogenic impacts on avian diversity around river Chenab, Pakistan. recorded different landscapes along that is, forest, agricultural, rural, and urban habitats. data distribution of various species were collected through linear count with direct methods viz. personal observations sound records and indirect presences carcasses meeting local communities. habitat preferences birds varied significantly. A decline in observed from forest landscapes. One year bird surveys compiled a total 150 all habitats Chenab. Computed statistical show that Shannon's index provides quantitative report which highest at (4.261) followed by rural (3.746), agri–rural agriculture (3.623), WLH (2.723), vegetative (3.215), very least nonvegetative (2.247). It can be concluded study many have specific habitats and also noted corridors connections among are important for conservation diversity.
