摘要: SUMMARY The ability of three vesicular-arbuscular (VA) mycorrhizal fungi - Glomus caledonium (Nicol. and Gerd.) Trappe Gerd., sp. type E3 mosseae Schenck) Gerd. to infect leek (Allium porrum L.), when used as spatially separated pairs inocula was assessed by analysing the roots for presence diagnostic fungal enzymes after separation root proteins gel electrophoresis. A difference in competitiveness observed, such that unable a system if either G. or were also present. When latter two pair inocula, one which had been placed simulate an indigenous strain predominated almost total exclusion introduced inoculum. These results suggest successful establishment VA field soils will depend on species present, being its placement soil. use isozyme analysis offers method monitoring outcome inoculation programme detecting host roots.
