摘要: Abstract To investigate the effects of ambient temperature on combustion characteristics, and soot formation oxidation, a detailed comparative study between two different volumetric diesel–soybean biodiesel–butanol blended fuels was carried out in an optical constant volume chamber. The ratios were 80% diesel/15% soybean biodiesel/5% butanol denoted as S15B5 diesel/10% biodiesel/10% S10B10 tested this with temperatures (from 800 K to 1200 K) at start injection. Experimental results indicated that ignition delays almost identical, fuel presented higher maximum cumulative heat release, release rate pressure compared those fuel. With increase temperature, flame propagated downstream spray jet became brighter. distribution also increased for both fuels, had lower value normalized time-integrated mass (NTISM). Therefore, more advantages reduce emission Also, increasing from 1200 K led rapid decrease NTISM fuels.
