摘要: The melting behavior of poly(vinylidene chloride) (PVDC) was studied using differential thermal analysis (DTA). Crystals were grown isothermally from 0.1% and 0.02% dilute solutions the polymer in 1.2-dibromoethane monobromobenzene. Both ‘solid’ ‘oil’ samples used for DTA experiments. ‘Solid’ are defined as dried down crystals which have been suspension exchanged silicone oil without letting them dry out. Thermal curves similar to those obtained previously with as-polymerized crystals, that is they show two endotherms. lower temperature peak corresponds lamellae formed. upper at around 200°C, may be due reorganized during heating. extra small peaks addition samples. From results annealing degradation experiments, these correspond a portion partially degraded form double bonds thus possess points. An alternative explanation there an yet unreported second crystal PVDC.
