Determination of serum ionised calcium by ion-exchange electrode in normal subjects

摘要: Abstract Serum ionised calcium concentration [Ca 2+ ] was measured with a selective electrode in 65 normal people. A mean value of 1.06 mmol/1 (± 0.04 S.D.) an actual range 0.97 to 1.13 obtained. samples refrigerated at 4° C for 24 h were satisfactory analysis. Storage whole blood 6 room temperature before separation caused very small error (+0.04 mmol/1). Mean results and ranges similar males females there no significant correlation age. No change serum found following meal. total showed slight ( r = 0.35). The method is reproducible sensitive.
