摘要: Abstract The morphological features of odontoblast processes in young kitten odontoblasts were studied by thin section and freeze-fracture electron microscopy. Freeze-fracture replication revealed depressions with particles on the plasma membranes proximal parts processes. Comparison sections suggested that these represented sites endocytosis. Frequent (corresponding to coated pits sections) indicate high absorptive activity odontoblasts. The results odontoblasts, especially their processes, play a significant functional role modification predentine matrix during early dentinogenesis.
