摘要: The value of a test for islet cell cytoplasmic antibodies together with GAD65 to predict the subsequent development diabetes over period 11.5 years was assessed in an open childhood population comprising 2,805 individuals. A single serum sample obtained from each individual between 1975 and 1977 screened which eight individuals were positive (0.29%). During average follow-up years, four antibody three negative developed clinical diabetes. Sera all individuals, who and/ or (total 11) 100 randomly selected control subjects analysed antibodies. Six including subsequently IDDM. Furthermore, one IDDM both 1976 1989. Thus, alone correctly predicted five seven children, disease. Only insulin autoantibodies this also One (1%). results suggest that may have higher sensitivity predicting than antibodies, but combined increases specificity years.
