摘要: Most modal split models have been based on the assumption of rational behaviour in an individual's choice evaluation generalised costs alternatives. This paper integrates conceptual and empirical information from a wide range sources points towards alternative way looking at choice. The main conclusion is that car usually perceived as superior mode for vehicular travel potential user committed to its use largely through act purchasing it. structure sequential model outlined one four-stage decision-making framework which considers role learning habit-formation. In conclusion, implications this approach are considered terms conventional trip generation submodels, certain policy measures assessed.
